The Future Is Beautiful
** TFIB is proud to present the NYC leg of the Schematic's Dukes of the Stratosfear tour, 2010. **
Schematic is one of the labels that personify the tricky beats and deep bass sound for us. The comps Ischemic Folks and Lily of the Valley, along with Phoenecia's Odd Jobs releases really blew our minds in the most wonderful way when we first experienced them. The textures, the music, the compositions, all of them truly insightful and meticulous. We are very honored to be collaborating with them for the NYC performance of their tour.
Romulo, the crimson knight of the Phoenecia and Soul Oddity legends, is leading a fresh crop of Schematic debutantes, Joe Lentini and Ay (of Ken Rei), across a 7 state tour of wild beats and reckless bass abuse.
Representing the bassy, booty, crunchy and beaty from NYC we've got two time Mutek performer David Last, Schematic's Unjust, and Io Record's RJ Valeo (aka Isomer Transition).
This is one of those special events that we look forward to at TFIB. Really, don't miss this, there won't be a next time.
Some one liners to describe the sounds of the Schematic performers:

"Like Latin Rascals meets Cabaret Voltaire."- Billy Graham
"Really good, funky, clubby electronic stuff with some attitude!" -Unheard Music (LOL!!!)
Ay (of Ken Rei)
"Supersonic swirls, wild beats spinning madly, warped voices and tings, the Top 10 pop tunes run amok...beautiful jagged music" - Foxy Digitalis
