Line-up / Coburn / Tim Healy (DJ set - UK)
Tim Healey is a music producer, club DJ, radio presenter and journalist.
Having run his first night club at 18, Tim DJs in clubs around the world from San Francisco to Tokyo. He currently holds a residency at London's Turnmills and has appeared at Manumission, Cream, Ministry of Sound and God's Kitchen.
Tim is one half of electro-rocker duo, Coburn. Their last single "We interrupt this programme" featured on the global advertising campaign for the Citroen C1, was signed to Ministry of Sound and received daytime radio-play on Radio 1.
2006 sees Coburn putting the finishing touches to their debut long-player as they continue to tour the world. Their current single is Give me love/Razorblade and has already been no.1 download at Beatport. The last year has seen them produce for Liberty X and remix Pharell Williams among others.
Tim's weekly radio show on Juice 107.2, (due to go live in July 2006) is called "Acoustika". The show's remit explores the area between the electronic and the acoustic. He also reviews music for DMC Update, the UK's weekly dance music bible.
Dates already confirmed for this summer include: Fuji Rock (Japan), Cream (Ibiza), Secret Garden Festival (UK), tours of China and Brazil, USA…
Spending most weekends for the last 10 years entertaining crowds of clubbers and festival-goers around the globe has given Tim a unique insight into what makes a sh*t-hot DJ set, where electro-house collides head-on with beats, breaks and booties; where skewed-pop gets a rock-edge, and all in the name of damn-fine dance music.
