Located in an unassuming block of industrial units in West London the Roller Express studio is a bubbling hive of musical activity. Its occupants Toddla T and Redlight have only been in there a few months but already it is held in high regard among DJs, song writers, producers and the like. Bringing together musical heritage from Bristol and Sheffield the sonics coming out of Roller Express are genuinely next level. So imagine what happens when Toddla T & Redlight DJ together alongside their MCs Serocee & Dread…

Toddla T cut his teeth on the underground DJ circuit of Sheffield before getting the chance to work with Roots Manuva and the rest is history. He has gone on to produce for Tinchy Stryder, Jammer and Roisin Murphy to name a few as well as remixing the great and good. On any given weekend you can catch him DJing from Manchester to LA to Tokyo and beyond. You can also hear him on the airwaves of BBC Radio 1 leading the way with his INDJWT show.

Redlight was born and bred in Bristol and is an artist navigating the unnamed airspace between house, breakbeats, dubstep and beyond. In his original incarnation as DJ Clipz, the producer and DJ has risen through the ranks to become one of the most celebrated and respected artists in drum n bass. In his new life as Redlight he has already crafted a handful of bangers which have won over fans and followers from Skream to Jack Beats to Annie Mac to Shy FX and more the World over. With remixes under his belt for the likes of Magnetic Man, Donaeo and Kano 2010 is popping for Redlight.

The fusion of “the Redlight sound” and “the Toddla T sound” is what Roller Express is all about, whether it be on record or in the club, is all about taking the music to the next level and they hit Junk first!
