The co-founder of Def Mix productions along with David Morales and Judy Weinstein has produced hit tracks that include ‘Tears’ with Satoshi Tomiie and ‘The Whistle Song’, as well as remixes for everyone from Mary J. Blige to Hercules & The Love Affair.
August 26 is now known in Chicago as ‘Frankie Knuckles Day’, and in honor of his contributions to music, The Windy City named a street after him called ‘Frankie Knuckles Way.
