Movement Torino is the European edition of the Movement Detroit Electronic Music Festival (DEMF), the world leading dance music festival that takes place in downtown Detroit's Hart Plaza every May since 2000, celebrating techno music in the city where it was born. The first overseas event of this kind, was staged on 15 December 2006, by Movement Europe together with Derrick May, Movement founder and world ambassador. The 4th edition of Movement Torino 2009 has attracted over 15 thousand people and established itself as the Europe Best Halloween Indoor Music Festival. Movement Torino and Movement Detroit-Paxahau share a strategic partnership aimed to strengthen their brand value.
The 5th edition of Movement Torino Music Festival will return from Thursday 28th till Sunday 31st October 2010 staging the Final Show at PalaOlimpico–Isozaki, Torino, Italy.
