REACT NOW PRESENTS:
Also watch out for the special Sharp Boys Remix of React’s seminal dance classic, "Age of Love" by Age Of Love exclusively made to debut at this party
Reactivate, the pioneering hard dance brand popularised by the legendary React label in the 90's, has been reactivated by popular demand for a special one-off 'rave' at Area in Vauxhall on Saturday October 2nd. The party will feature a role call of names synonomous with the React label playing old school techno, trance, hard dance and New York house music that made React one of the most successful and popular independent labels of its time.
The main Reactivate Arena will delight to the sounds of BK who had his first gig at React's weekly club night Garage, Fridays at Heaven (which ran for 10 years); trance pioneer Blu Peter, not seen for a decade; Rachel Auburn, known for her Freska albums on React and her legendary Taboo residency, and Simon Eve, who ran React's successful Recharge hard dance imprint plus a very special Live P.A. by React's very own diva, S-J performing her hits "I Feel Divine" & "Fever".
The React Techno Terrace is headed by Daz Saund & Trevor Rockcliffe, original London DJ's whose pioneering support for Belgian Techno led to the creation of the Reactivate series and who are still cutting it on the techno circuit today.
The Kinky Trax Room(another cutting edge React album, showcasing the early house sound of New York, Chicago, Miami etc) presents house legends The Sharp Boys who will be revisiting some of their classic tracks and remixes such as Sara Parker “My Love Is Deep” and one-time Kinky Trax diva DJ, Princess Julia will be delving back into her New York house heritage collection for a truly uplifting set.
Reactivate was one of the most Internationally successful dance album compilations Ever, pioneering European techno, trance and hard dance for more than a decade. The series ran for 18 albums and there were 3 Best Of's and a separate Mix series. It's sound was huge on the underground scene, rave scene, club scene and gay scene where it became the soundtrack of no-sleep London. Polysexual, old skool, bangin’, bouncin’, bumpin...this event is October’s no sleep rave for the capital.
