On Sunday Oct 3rd, we continue to showcase our favourite M_NUS artists, and welcome Fabrizio Maurizi to WYS!

Growing up in Bologna , Fabrizio has always paid attention to the original detroit movement.

After spending a short time in the citys illegal rave scene he soon graduated to becoming a resident at some of the citys leading clubs.

His fascination with techno was escalating and after hearing Richie Hawtin, he was becoming increasingly drawn to the minimal sound.

Fabrizio dreamed of being part of the M_nus family, and made a brave decision to only send his productions to Hawtin.

Ambitious perhaps, but it paid off..

As with all M_nus artists Fabrizio has a unique sound. he admits to being hooked on very low bassline frequencies, his tracks explore the sometimes dark, sometimes funky side of techno, using completely mad vocal samples to give his music a unique flavour.

We cant rate the man enough.. each and every set is incredible.
