Funky-techy-breaky-bass-step-hard-electro-mashup!

Mashup nights are not a new concept but are few and far between here in sunny Manchester so CR@SH is here to provide a much needed break from the norm.
We’ll be taking DJs from the local scene and the rest of the country and setting them the challenge of blending/cutting/mashing 3 or more genres into every set with plenty of accapella’s, samples and effects thrown in for good measure. No easy task unless you’re a skilled decknician so we’ll only be inviting the most talented individuals to perform.

This selection of DJs represents exactly what's going down in Manchester town's dance music scene at the minute. Trance, techno, house, hard dance, electro and beyond are these guys stock in trade but we'll be asking them to go much further than that and get experimental with anything from Sub Focus to Sir Bob Marley on the cards.

Our chosen venue is The Attic where we can go to town on the décor, play what we want till 4am and be well looked after by one of the best door teams in Manchester.
