For those that remember that Sold Out Friday night back in February when a man by the name of Fake Blood made his astounding Junk debut, don't need reminding how truly amazing it really was. If you missed out in February make Friday 24th February a date for diary as Bang Bang welcomes back Fake Blood.
For a man who has taken on many aliases in the past it is unsurprising that his DJ Sets are of truly jaw-dropping quality. Anyone who has heard his essential mix which was recently voted number 4 in Radio 1’s 2009 essential mix poll will know what we mean. His seamless mixing of big room electro, big beat, house and bassline whilst dropping many of his own prolific productions, as well as some of the most box fresh beats will leave you stunned.
If you have been raving in the past couple of years then it is likely that you will have heard one of his tracks. In fact these days it is almost impossible to go to any dance music night without hearing one of his massive tunes. Whether it’s the anthemic rave break in “Mars” or the recent dance anthems “Fix Your Accent” or “The Dozens” or perhaps one of his many remixes for Dan Le Sac, Armand Van Helden, The Kills, Hot Chip or Little Boots. You're bound to have heard at least one.
Support on the night comes from our crack residents team, expect Mash Up, Electro, B-More, Fidget, Crack House & Ghetto Beats.
The anticipation has already built up to a point of boiling here. We seriously can't wait, as we welcome back one of dance music's finest to Junk!
