The Subways (DJ) – Crash Rhino – Alice Bambi
Insideout? at The Hoxton Pony has established itself as THE place to be in the East End – recently attracting acts as established as The Specials, Paloma Faith & The Libertines! Visually the place is one of a kind. The bar was designed by award winning designer come architect Yanik Allard of Ecole Camondo Paris – combining contemporary sculpture, fluorescent lighting and wildlife diorama – there really is no place quite like it.. The Pony’s darker personality is revealed in the basement, a demented, back-lit dance floor with the attitude of a contemporary East End drinking den. We’ve yet to mention the award winning drinks menu (2 for 1 cocktails between 6-9pm) and the tres-unique food menu serving seasonal British classics with a twist. All cocktails are mixed with seasonal, local produce at the highest standard – playing a big part towards the venues ‘Bar of The Year’ award last year!

This Friday see’s Charlotte (the bass player of Indie rock band The Subways) bring her world famous DJ set to Insideout. Since winning the first Glastonbury unsigned competition and playing the Other Stage at the festival in 2004 the band have become a big name on the scene supporting the likes of Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters, Oasis and AC/DC at Wembley Stadium in 2009. The summer has seen The Subways play some of the biggest festivals all over Europe. The band are now in the process of writing album number three which they are expecting to go into the studio with in a few months time. As well as mastering the Bass Guitar, Charlotte has been Djing at some of the biggest Indie Clubs in the world for the past 5 years, including recent sets at One Music live in Stuttgart, White Trash Fast Food in Berlin, and CYNT in Dubai. Her mix is a full on party, taking in everything from MGMT, The Strokes , Muse and La Roux. Charlotte brings a huge amount of glam to any club night while killing every dance floor in the process.

Joining Charlotte - our resident DJ’s CrashRhino + Alice Bambi will bring their diverse mix-up party to warm up the weekend. Expect to hear anything from Soul to RnB, 90’s HipHop to 80’s electronica, Ska & Mash ups, Rock n Roll and Indie.

There’s a reason the cream of the Capital choose to party with us week in week out – come down this Friday and find out for yourself!
