Electro impresario Kissy Sell Out first launched his label San City High back in May, and now he's taking the show on the road with a 16 date nationwide tour starting at the end of September. Stopping off in Leeds with the man himself presiding over the evening we have:
KITCH 'N SYNC
Kitch 'n Sync are Michael Dodman & James Crone. The duo, coming from London (Michael) and Birmingham (James) have been producing and DJing together for the last 2 years and have begun to notched up a number of big tunes in a few different genres. Individually and together they have also already worked with such labels as artists as; Ministry Of Sound, Island, Atlantic, Frankmusik, Uber DJs, Little Boots, Esser, AATW (Universal) and the list keeps on growing!
JEUCE - LIVE
Jeuce are a collaboration of live acts, DJ’s, designers and promoters. The people involved and the music released on the Get Hype label are all driven by bass heavy dance music, bouncing from Electro to Dubstep and all styles in between. Kissy has hotly tipped them as ones to watch.
Oliver Portamento and Alex Powell have been working together for many years not just as DJs but also as successful promoters and producers. Taking influences from oldskool hip hop and rave then fusing it with today’s modern house, electro plus more experimental genres such as dubstep, drum n bass and even trance. By cut and pasting these together, adding chopped vocals and colossal breakdowns they have created a unique big room sound that has closed the ranks between the styles which makes a heavyweight impact on the dance floor.
