THIS IS A SATURDAY NIGHT / SUNDAY MORNING EVENT

Paul Gardner and Wayne O’Connell are no newcomers to the industry, being an integral part of the London house scene for over 20 years now. But it is only recently that the guys have earned the long overdue, and much deserved, worldwide recognition they have been striving for.
In today’s climate most artists carve out a production profile before proving themselves as DJ’s. It is this that often leads to most artists’ productions being more dance floor orientated the more experienced they become, as they gain that all important first hand knowledge of what it takes to rock a packed dance floor. As DJ’s first and foremost, Paul and Wayne already had intimate knowledge of what worked in the main rooms up and down the country, so it was a simple case of applying this knowledge to their production work, and it is this that has led to their imidiate rise to fame.

No one does peak time floor fillers better than the Soul Avengerz. Quickly establishing a staggering production profile, the boys caught the attention of some of the UK’s major record labels, with remix work for CR2, Positiva, Ministry of Sound, Manifesto, Sony BMG, Mn2s, Gut, Hed Kandi, Milk&Sugar, Universal and Strictly Rhythm promptly following...
A decade on and they still get
From the anthemic funk of ‘Love You Feel’ & ‘One Love’ to remixing for Marshall Jefferson, Queen, Lee Caberra, Axwell, Bootyluv, Inaya Day, Nightcrawlers, George Benson, Kaskade, Kid Massive, Beyonce, Chris Lake, Blondie, Tom Novy, Alison Limerick & Michelle Weeks.. the guys have also been writing with artists Katherine Ellis, Peyton, Angie Brown, Max’C, Krysten Cummins all this plus many exciting projects on there newly launched very own label Soda Recordings,
the Soda label’s joint venture with Strictly Rhythm has already enjoyed early success and continues to go from strengh to strengh With 4 no.1’s and several top 10’s amongst the 12 releases out on SODA the boys are more than pleased with the progress and still pinch themselves everyday that are in bed with the legandary Strictly Rhythm.
