Hong Kong’s bass music cultivators, Kongkretebass, are back this September with another forward thinking booking! On Saturday, 25th September we will introduce one of the legends of UK Dubstep / Grime / Bass Music scene, KODE9 (HyperDub / UK).

? Having just release a mix on the infamous DJ-Kicks compilation, KODE9, the head honcho of the record label “Hyperdub” will grace the dex in Hong Kong for the first time!

Kode9 has released tracks on Aphex Twin’s Rephlex label, pioneering dubstep labels Tempa, Domino and his own Hyperdub imprint and has remixed artists such as the Junior Boys and Dabrye Feat.

Hyperdub label releasing artists such as the Spaceape, Warrior Queen, the Bug and Burial, and now with the latest release of Ikonika’s ablum on Hyperdub – “Contact, Love, Want, Have”, which is truly ground breaking in every sense .

? Kongkretebass is extremely proud to be able to introduce one of the living legends in the Dubstep scene to Hong Kong. We are pretty pumped for this one!
