With their offbeat, jazzy, prank-ridden minimal house tracks, dOP are one of the freshest groups to come out of Paris in the last couple of years. Together with their mates Noze they have been creating a wonky, vodka-drenched vision for house music that relies heavily on real instruments, strong melodies and out of control live shows. 'Most of the French promoters don't let us play. They like our records, but they're scared about our live set' they say, but open minded audiences have nothing to fear (but fear itself): Their irreverent love for music is quite contagious and everyone knows that keeping a straight face and dancing don't mix that well.

//Tonight dOP wil be assisted by one of Selector Superiors favorites, a local hero who has lately been taking his game to an international level:
During the last two years MATHIAS MESTEÑO has released a series of world class records on some of the most prestigious house labels in the world right now.

Labels such as Upon You Records, Fumakilla & Freerange Records has all been fast to recognize the eminent flow he so easily displays through all of his productions.

Imagine pairing such a particular sense of style and flow with a seriously bootylicious sense of rhythm and party hardyness, and you'll get a pretty good idea about how MATHIAS MESTEÑO's sets evolves throught the night.

His unique ability to take the sound of the underground and melt it together with a sizzling hot and steaming atmosphere at any given club has made him a regular name at some of the best clubs in the world today: Panorama Bar, Fabric, Watergate and Bar 25 are all clubs that Mathias Mesteño visits on a regular basis, and tonight at Selector Superior you will find out excacty why they are so happy about him.

Francois Kevorkian has not only been a star but also a ground breaking producer and record label manager since the mid 70's, and he is perfectly aware that he has deserved every right to eat all the cake he has earned through his many years of hard work and dedication to music.

The guy is a legend and he's well aware of it, and he will let his hopefull dj protegés go trough years and years of waiting before he even consider to let them to put the needle to a record, still under his strict supervision of course.

We at Selector Superior honestly don't whether there has ever existed a true boundary between music and Francois Kevorkian. But we do know, that if MUNCH MACHINE is good enough to be chosen by Francois Kevorkian as a replacement for The Man himself at his Deep Space residency in NYC, then he's good enough to play at any given club in the world.
