September's second installment of Zumbido.... Exit Bar's favorite club night where the excitement keeps getting better and better will be joined by special guest Dj Chicone (Madzmusic/Juno Recs) plus the usual in house suspects Russell Wayne (Blank Kanvas/BodyMove) and Sim (Ornate Music/Juno Recs) for a session of absolute audio bondage.... Nuff said!
Chicone started his DJ adventure more than 10 years ago when h...e joined forces with Kike Neves to form MADZMUSIC (B-Sides), a name that is well known in the East London tech-house and techno underground scene. He has played in numerous respected venues in London including Fabric and The Egg and holds, along with a DJ and producer Oiram Gar, his own monthly night called DMODE at one of the hottest and most popular venues in Shoreditch. Behind the decks, his main attribute without a doubt is his ability to adapt to the crowd and the venue, always focusing on the dance floor and bringing you the freshest underground sounds.
Russell Wayne's musical background and unique style lets him work the crowd from the very first record he slams on.... The crowd pick up the pace and he keeps 'em there. What's his secret? Russell has that innate ability to know exactly which tune is going to tear the roof off and send the crowd into a frenzy. He's been DJing and working for promotions on and off for many years. Since 2000 he has played at various commercial and underground warehouse parties for promotions such as Eargazmic, Wildchild, Climax, BodyMove, Breakfast and many more. He has recently been signed to Amor Digital with his first release (Resurrected) which is in a more trancey style - check it out at Trackitdown.net
Siimo Raba aka Sim comes from Estonia although for the past 6 years he's been based in London, where he splits his time between working for Juno Records, writing jacking house & techno music plus helping out behind the scenes at the HQs of UK record labels Autoreply, Ornate & Stuga Musik. His remix of Nathan Coles & David Coker's "Do You Know" was recently released on 12" by Ornate Music. At the controls he usually serves up the more deephousey stuff but depending on the needs of the crowd, there's always room for adjustment.
