We Fear Silence presents Deviation 3rd Birthday Special Pt 2 // Saturday 23rd October

Benji B – who has just been handed the daunting task of filling Mary Anne Hobbs’ shoes now she’s left Radio 1 – brings his much loved night Deviation to We Fear Silence on October 23rd. This monthly party, usually held at Gramaphone in East London sees Benji bring in a host of guests from the best in bass music, to electronic soul, to hip hop and way beyond – with guests in recent times ranging from Madlib to Floating Points, Dam Funk to Geeneus, Mayer Hawthorne to Actress and on and on. They celebrate their third birthday with us at Cable in some style, with the genius of Kode9 – a man whose influence on UK bass music simply can’t be overstated – and the amazing Theo Parrish of Detroit, who’s ability to draw everything that’s raw and soulful about house and techno puts him in a league of his own. Benji fills the gaps, in his own make you jump, make you weep, make you smile, make you holla style.
