A night of heavy beats, naughty bass, and jackin house!

A brief introduction...

The Living Graham Bond (Chew the fat!)
http://www.myspace.com/thelivinggrahambond

Bang! Dropping in from a great height the big wigs at TINAR towers have pulled a few strings, twisted a few arms, pulled a few hamstrings...(oh wait) in order to bring you a super star line-up for the big October re-launch...

Our first student is Chew the fat! new boy and (halls of) resident The Living Graham Bond aka TLGB, making his Horse and Groom debut.

The Living Graham Bond has been gaining prominence in the electro community since winning the AC Slater’s Hello remix competition at the start of the year. With clever samples, unbeatable percussion loops, and distinctive grinding basslines, his tunes have been on repeat on the TINAR ipods all summer break (ok stop now).

Following polished remixes of Kidda and Olive's club classic You are not alone, his latest release "Winter Hunter" features a shimmering vocal from folk singer Fiona Bevan who recently won Channel 4’s ‘Orange Unsigned Act’ with Alex James of Blur describing her voice as “spine-tingling”. If you haven't heard it yet, now's the time to check it out!

We're super excited to have TLGB in to start the new semester with a bang!

Dekker (Apocalypso)
http://www.myspace.com/d_e_k_k_e_r_

Next up is former Always Fridays resident and Apocalypso co-promoter Charlie Anderson, AKA Dekker. Also making up one half of production duo Dekker and Johan (clues in the name...) the boys have been working on some super special stuff over the past 24 months, with huge remixes of Little boots, Chew Lips and not least that dance floor killer remix of Simeon Mobile discos Audacity of Huge.

We've been waiting an awful long while to get Charlie into the booth at the Horse cos we know this ones gonna be special, woot!

===================================

and as always the ‘This is not a Rave!’ residents:

Not Shy (Calling All Tribes)
http://www.myspace.com/djnotshy
Not Shy bounced onto the scene with an explosive first set in 2008 which gained this new comer the attention of ravers, club kids, industry players and established DJs. He’s rapidly rising towards the top of the London scene playing at a number of clubbing institutions including Trailer Trash, Always Fridays @ Egg, SE1, Jamm, 333, and others. His first years have seen him billed with some of the top talent in the game including Basement Jaxx, Zombie Disco Squad, Andy George, AC Slater, Trevor Loveys, HiJack, Detboi, and Raffertie. A true master of the slick and heavy mix, dropping high energy jump-up filthy electro house, driving jacking tech house and some wildcard bass excursions, delivered raw and loud.

Pressplay_dj (Diamond Laser / This is not a rave!)
http://www.myspace.com/pressplay_dj
When not messing about in his studio doing reworks and edits, Pressplay likes to do the odd mash up dj set. He’s a die hard indie fan turned to the dark side of electro-dance music. Growing fast in the London scene, Pressplay spans genres, and has played alongside the likes of Basement Jaxx, Trevor Loveys and Andy George all the way to indie new tones The Maccabees and My Tiger My Timing. With influences from Fidget, Indie and Electro expect the unexpected and get ready to dance. Did he just drop an indie-remix?!

Rick Tozer (Revenge Is Sweet)
http://www.myspace.com/ricktozer
Falling in love with music at the dawn of Rave, Rick frequented warehouse parties and classic nights such as Seduction, Evolution and the infamous Camber Weekender in 1992. When he was 15 he set about ripping up the local house party scene in South West London and then over the next 5 years built up a great reputation, had three weekly residencies, played on bills alongside the likes of Grooverider, Fabio, Judge Jules, Oakenfold, Plump Djs and Sven Vath to name a few and played parties at The Cross and Ministry Of Sound. After a 5 year sabbatical in a rock band producing live beats he’s returned to his DJ roots and we are proud to have him spinning at This Is Not A Rave...
