On Saturday the 20th of November De:tuned is celebrating its first anniversary in style with another smashing old school techno event. With 2 legendary headliners and loads of extras this will definitely be a party to look out for this fall! For its first birthday party De:tuned has invited 2 show pieces from the legendary R&S Records label. Both CJ Bolland and Robert Leiner, 2 of the most notable artists from the R&S roster, will perform strictly old school techno sets with a strong focus on music released during the early to mid 90s. Anyone who is into techno knows that R&S is one of the most influential record companies in techno history. Operating out of Ghent, Belgium the label with the Ferrari inspired logo was responsible for unleashing groundbreaking music that still sounds fresh today. Lots of renowned artists in the world of dance music owe their career to R&S as the label functioned as a platform for new and exciting electronic music during the 1990s.
Of course presents are a much preferred part of every birthday party and that’s why De:tuned will be handing some free goodies. Each visitor will receive a free De:tuned mix CD and sticker. In addition to this the first 10 visitors get a free exclusive De:tuned t-shirt! T-shirts will also be sold during the night at one-off low prices.
As if this isn’t enough already we’ll be rewarding 2 lucky winners with some special prizes through an online contest and a prize draw on the night itself (only open to Belgian residents).
To enter our online competition please answer the following question and send your answer to email@example.com:
With what other DJ who also performed at De:tuned did CJ Bolland record the track ‘Music’ in 1991?
The competition closes on November 14th. Out of all the right answers we will select one lucky winner who will be announced in the days leading up to the party. He or she will receive a mint sealed original copy of CJ Bolland’s DJ-Kicks mix CD from 1995 and gets free entrance to De:tuned!
To participate in the De:tuned prize draw you’ll need to fill out the form at the entrance. It’s important that you note down your wristband’s number correctly and that you hang on to your wristband after the party. During the week following the party another winner will be selected and notified. The lucky winner will receive a rare mint sealed copy of Robert Leiner’s Organized Noise CD album on R&S and a De:tuned t-shirt!
De:tuned will take place at 10R20, Grote Markt 41 in Herentals. Doors open at 22h and the entrance fee is 7 euro. For this anniversary edition special visuals have been created by JokJok.
