Drop the Mustard returns! with our most anticipated line-up to date. After the phenomenal success of Afterlife at Sound Control, this year Drop the Mustard has evolved to bring you bigger acts, bigger beats, and the most exciting party experience in Manchester on a Friday that won’t break the bank.

As we approach our Second Birthday, first up we are flying in one of the finest house DJs in the world, hailing from Sweden, Zoo Bra...zil. Supporting will be the electro-house fusing warriors Joe & Will Ask who have been tearing up the globe with their fresh sound and relentless energy. As ever our collective of residents including Oli Hackett & SaxOffender “two of the best up and coming DJs in the city” (Warehouse Project) will get the party flowing. See you down at the front!

Zoo Brazil has carved a reputation for himself as one of dance music’s most innovative and respected producers. With over 100 singles released, Zoo Brazil (real name John Andersson) has released music on practically every major music label including Armin Van Buuren’s (Armada Music), Tiesto’s (Black Hole label) and Tiga’s (Turbo Label) to name a few. John’s music has been showcased all over the globe and this year being no exception from Creamfields (Australia) to Matter (London), we are privileged to have him.

||| Joe & Will Ask |||

Joe and Will met in 2005, from very different musical backgrounds Their name describes their relentless passion to constantly explore genres of music, and represent their different influences within their own characteristic sound that they have become so well known for.
Coming across with dirt and cutting edge production and an eye firmly on the dance floor, but also with effortless musicality not normally associated with techno, they win over fans from the band/ indie scene, as easily as diehard clubbers. They inject tonality and musical flow into everything they touch, all under the banner of techno or electro or whatever you would like to call it, and have been compared to SoulWax, Chemical Brothers, DIM and Popof. Live and djing they have conquered Europe with electrifying sets that capture any crowds imagination. This is music that’s connecting on a primal level, with enough raw energy, guts and musicality to win over virtually any audience. And therein lies the answer to what Joe and Will asked. We look forward to them Dropping the Mustard.
