Sean Cormac [Stimulus Response]
Having spent much of his youth growing up on legendary New York venues such as Sound Factory Bar and Tunnel, Sean was exposed to a variety of music and atmospheres that would come to set a precedent for what is expected from nightlife. These early experiences would prove to be the foundation for what Stimulus Response would come to be. Now into their fifth year, Sean along with his co-resident, Lola Rephann and their manager, Gabe "Silverbull" Mayorga have brought Stimulus Response to various venues throughout New York City including: Pacha, Sullivan Room, Santos, and Sol with regular guests such as: Tedd Patterson, Hector Romero, Cevin Fisher and Mr. V.
The signature element of Sean Cormac's set is diversity. Ranging from the deep and soulful to percussion drenched house; Sean's selections cover multiple eras of music as opposed to staying exclusive to only that which is current. His versatile style and programming have given him to the opportunity to play a wide range of events with the likes of Radio Slave, Charles Webster, Hex Hector, Wally Lopez and many more household names. Stimulus Response is next up at Cielo with Willie Graff on Christmas night.
Nocturnal Soul [NYC Soul Sessions]
Nocturnal Soul are Alan Morehouse & Jon Saraniti. Both born and raised in New York, it was in Ibiza that Jon and Alan first met in 2002, and shortly thereafter started their own NYC Soul Sessions events. Jon and Alan have been influenced by a variety of sounds, and it shows in their eclectic sets - playing everything from funky & deep grooves to tech & tribal beats - they have always maintained their commitment to the underground sound. Never content to simply mix two tracks together, they have embraced today's modern technology, and are constantly looking for new ways to sound unique and fresh but still maintain the funk & rhythm of the balearic sounds that have influenced them.
Nocturnal Soul have teamed up with Sean Cormac of Stimulus Response to continue to bring their events to new heights, and have recently graced the decks around the globe with stops in Ibiza, Croatia & Peru. Their NYC Soul Sessions podcast has over 25,000 subscribers worldwide.
