Relocating to the brand new venue NOMAD, on Old Street, Snubb Presents has expanded its music policy fitting in with the ambience of this high-quality and stylish club and bar. The downstairs bar will playing be the hottest up-and-coming deep disco-tech and house sounds from Hot Creations’ newest beat-thumper Clockwork: scouted and signed by label boss Lee Foss and whose latest single has been hammered around Ibiza, including in Foss’s Ibiza Voice podcast.
Playing live in the upstairs room will be Italian deep techno don The Selph. Having already released on seminal underground labels such as Apnea, Off! and Resopal and with collaborations with other stars of the Italian techno scene such as Matteo Millieri and Alessio Mereu, The Selph’s unique deep-tech and detroit house rhythms have been championed by the likes of Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin and Laurent Garnier. For Snubb Presents he will be showcasing, for the first time in the city, his new live set, an energetic and powerful trip through the frequencies that incorporated all of his electronic musical influences and styles.
Also taking charge of the dancefloor upstairs is local underground stalwart Mark Chambers. A true DJ with a vision to get the crowd moving, Mark’s policy is to break down the barriers between people and musical styles allowing the tunes to flow through our minds and connect us all via the medium of bass, beats and top-notch groove. He has released on important labels in the scene, including Leftroom and Serialism and looks to be continuing his domination in London well into the new decade.
Supporting these fine producers of unadulterated electronic music is rumbling-techno producer Avatism (Luna, Amam, Retrometro), Snubb Records boss Sandy Sitlani and Nick Earles.
