Drum 'n Bass is blowing up! For years, the Drum 'n Bass scene was dominated by England, where in the early nineties the first Jungle and Breaks tracks were heard in London and Bristol. Times They Are Changing! Not only the Netherlands has been a major force with top artists and popular events. In Belgium, Australia, Germany, New Zealand, Brazil and many other countries, Drum 'n Bass has exploded in recent years.
For this heavyweight edition of Major League an eclectic mix of artists is invited. One of the original pioneers of Drum 'n Bass, Ed Rush, will show why he has been on top of the game for over 15 years. But also Chase & Status are there to party, one of the most popular duos in Drum 'n Bass, Dubstep and even Hiphop! They work with Snoop Dogg, Rihanna and Jay-Z. Their unparalleled live show at Lowlands created a huge buzz in the Netherlands. They share the stage with MC Rage, whose lyrical skills with has hosted all the major artists in the scene.
Major League also supports local Drum 'n Bass artists. Nympho, the hardest working DJ and Producer from the Netherlands, made its debut on Renegade Hardware and Critical, but has been one of the forces behind the Red Zone nights of the past as well. June Miller took part in the finals of prestigious awards shows in the Netherlands. His live sets reach a wide audience across Europe, from Fabric in London to Outlook Festival in Croatia. The duo Pamb & Harsh are not to be missed. Besides setting dancefloors on fire, they got involved with Major League in Budapest in collaboration with the Music Center Netherlands, organizing events in the Hungarian capital.
