Beats, rhymes and brass from the 8 piece East London hip hop crew. Perhaps the heaviest horn section in Hackney at the moment, their sound is infused with the influence of big band an...d swing. Fresh from smashing up the festival circuit and supporting the likes of Chali 2na, Mos Def, Anti Pop Consortium and The Herbaliser at the bigger venues of London they’ll be giving it raw, up close and personal, back home in the heart of Hackney.
Fresh from Canada, The Fugitives are the combined talents of Vancouver artists Adrian Glynn, Barbara Adler, Brendan McLeod, and Steve Charles. A group of multi-instrumentalists, songwriters, poets and novelists, each with their own burgeoning solo career, they’ve won individual accolades as diverse as the Canadian SLAM poetry championships and the CBC poet laureate.
Together they’ve honed an individual modern sound blending spoken word with bluegrass and folk. Catch them whilst you can as they meander through on their European Tour.

His career stems from a night at a side street venue in China Town, also running by the name of Mukatsuku, that was nominated as the best club night in London by The Evening Standard all the way back in 1997.

The Tax Deductible Theatre Company
A jolly band of actors, musicians, writers, dancers, magicians, circus folk, designers, prosthetic-limb-manufacturers, and general oddball that will be on hand to bring the RUCKUS™! You may have stumbled into or upon them at this year’s Secret Garden Party. Tax Deductible’s Never Ever Land Theatre was a roaring, flailing, warbling, staple-gunning, regurgitating success with over 34 hours of programmed theatre. The theatre closed down in the evenings before reopening at midnight as the Nocturnium for Lost Children; a dark and disturbed space featuring live music, twisted performance, interactive games and, of course, a hefty dose of Ruckus™.
“Utterly ridiculous yet strangely realistic” ***** - Edinburgh Guide
November 5th is Bonfire Night, when 405 years ago a courageous Guy decided he’d had enough of the lies, corruption and repression committed by the ruling elite of “Great” Britain in the name of Catholicism, and plotted an attempt to kill King James I. He failed.
But on this great day we ask you to question the lies, corruption and repression inherent within our ruling elite, encourage you to rise up, and to join us in a midnight celebration of Fire!
