Owned by the people and started by the Ibiza electronic underground scene, The Zoo's first aim was to unite all the countries so we can all live in a safe and free world.
The Zoo Project and its super-cool sister party, Channel Zoo, are the most exciting underground events to be launched in Spain in the last decade.
Founded in 2007, The Zoo family already established a large international under the radar following.... 2008 & 2009 has seen The Zoo family grow and become one of the largest movementsin the world proving that all is still good in Ibiza.
Drawing 7000 people weekly, the two parties in Ibiza offer an enticing blend of fresh, forward thinking music, amazing entertainment, fun and a friendly atmosphere.

Never forgetting that it?s the people who come that make the party, the Zoo concept makes people forget about their differences, and for once everyone see?s each individual as equal. Remember we are all animals.

MICHAEL JAMES (Monique Musique, Channel Zoo, UK)

To seek good groove, direction, and exceptional sound is more than a passion to Michael James. It’s a path.
Excellent track selection and 4/4 timing have earned him recognition at a very young age. His soundscape is deep and eclectic and consists of dub minimal, house and techno elements. In the early hours or in small spaces, experiments with deep and chilled sounds are what he likes most. Experienced with setting a big dancefloor alight in any venue from Zoo Projects rocking Seal Pit to Studio 80, Watergate or at Sankeys, he is always enchanted and inspired by the live feedback he gets.
Staying open minded to new music styles and welcoming technical discoveries, he keeps astonishing the audience and club promoters, as he is constantly searching for his road.
Signed to Monique Musique and with tracks supported by the likes of Varoslav or Loco Dice, Michael is looking forward to the approaching summer on the white island.

Surrounded by the sounds of the sunburned city streets, Jonathan Tena cannot really remember the first vinyl he bought. He will however never forget the little ice cream parlour, where he as a kid, from midday until siesta, listened to techno with his friends. He only started buying records, to get closer to this intriguing sound, but as addiction grew, shortly he was playing all over Barcelona.
The focus of Jonathan Tena is not closed, he likes a lot, from ambient, when playing at Café del Mar, up to underground house music and techno, at venues across Europe. He keeps the groove. Collecting vinyl for over a decade, as well as using digital interface, gives him infinite possibilities of choice.
Based in wonderful Ibiza for seven years, he has shared his musical space in most of the respected clubs, also collaborating with the Carl Cox party in Space. It’s however the Underground club, that he considers as his favorite- for the people, the sound and the true spirit of the island.
