Get Physical maestro Thomas Koch, better known as DJ T is returning to our shores and unwrapping his chocolate goodiness at Kink on Easter Saturday. T, along with his friends M.A.N.D.Y and Booka Shade are owners and team behind the uber-cool Get Physical Music record label, possibly the finest label of the last few years. Hailing from Frankfurt and more recently Berlin, T plays in the most exotic locals from St Petersburg to Sao Paolo and has a cult following stretching the earth. His sets turn 25 years of electronic music history into one fine, homogenous blend, combining tracks from the most varied of genres including disco, rap, funk, house, techno, electro and everything in between. More than just a world-class DJ, T also has his hands dirty as a producer / promoter / club operator / publisher and journalist. He has remixed his fair share of big acts and is responsible for a number of quality releases, including his debut album Boogie Playground (2005) and more recently his first commercially available DJ mix, Body Language Vol. 2 (2006), which followed on from where M.A.N.D.Y. took off and treated our drums to his unmistakable track selection and slick mixing.
With stellar support from the Kink massive including Ben Morris, Shamus, Telefunken and John Glover and the Broke-N-Beats boys Q45 with Amy B on vocals, The Jackal, Frenzie and Steve Lind, the easter eggs are on us. Put simply, you just don’t miss this man when he comes to town.
Limited pre-sales $25+BF only from ITM shop, more on the door if not sold out.
