Legendary Good Times selector Norman Jay heads south of the river with fellow London based producer and DJ Ashley Beedle for a night of house, disco, boogie and electronics at our weekly Community session.
Norman Jay has long been a part of the UK’s musical heritage, from his early days putting on warehouse parties in South London, to his long running and ever popular Good Times stage at the Notting Hill Carnival, he is still one of the most interesting DJs around, easily finding his way from forgotten classics to more contemporary affairs.
Ashley Beedle started playing records after hearing Norman’s show on the, then, pirate radio station Kiss FM. He has gone on to produce some of the biggest dance tracks in the last ten years (as part of X Press 2), as well as releasing more underground works via his Ballistic Brothers and Black Science Orchestra aliases.
These two legends of the underground London scene come together on a rare double bill, with support from South London collective Sambalanco.
