The festive season is in full swing, and to help welcome it in we have acquired the precocious talents of Jay Shepeard for the night. Louche's present to you: entrance to this jolly little Christmas party for just five quid.

Englishman Jay Shepheard has been enjoying a stellar 2010, and comes to us to round it all off in style. This year he's toured Down Under, released records on Buzzin Fly, Dirt Crew and Compost Black Label, launched his own new label project, and signed up with the Secretsundaze booking agency. Jay has had a long and diverse musical upbringing; from playing in high school bands to music PR, even working at Juno before making his mark on the scene with his first release on Compost in 2007.

Three years later and Jay Shepheard is firmly established as a leading player in the new wave of electronic music. Original productions and remixes on high profile labels Freerange, Four:Twenty and Poker Flat all showcase his warm interesting take on house music, which draws influence from funk and Italo-disco. Jay launched his own label Retrofit this year. With an ear for the past and an eye on the future the label couples classic electronic musical themes of acid house, disco, vintage techno and anything in between with current dance floor sounds and concepts

Outside of the studio Jay has also built a reputation in the booth, playing both DJ and live sets all over Europe in some of the leading venues including Fabric, Goa in Madrid, Watergate and Monza in Frankfurt.

Without doubt one of the best English producers out there making his Mint Club debut; a great way for Jay, and Louche to round off an excellent year of parties.
