For the first time in Australia, SWAYZAK, the acclaimed London – based duo of James Taylor and David Brown who create an unusual combination of techno, deep house and electro, recording together for the last ten years, belting out 5 studio albums and 2 Dj compilations and a number of side projects. Awarded album of the year 98, for their debut LP “Snowboarding in Argentina” from USA mag ‘MIXER’, and critical acclaim for their second long-player “Himawan” 2000, which was a club smash and featured collaboration from proclaimed dub poet Benjamin Zephaniah, Kristy Hawkshaw and JB Rose, bringing further expression to the already warm, organic soundscapes created by Swayzak. Cementing their place with the following releases through !K7, internationally acclaimed third album “Dirty Dancing” 2002, ‘Loops from the Bergerie’ 2004, featuring the vocals of Richard Davis and Clair Dietrich ‘Rout De La Slack’ 2006, and the highly anticipated new album out June 2007, also Dj Va’s; Groovetechnologie’ 2002 and ‘Fabric 11’ 2003, make SWAYZAK a true act to follow.
