As the name would imply, our new event series was created to exclusively showcase DJanes from NOSI Music and our extended network of vinyl vixens and digital divas from NYC and abroad.

NYC's undisputed queen of techno, Connie, joins the NOSI Music team this winter with an upcoming remix of label-mate, Tamara Montenegro's debut release, Love is Tight. When she's not composing original music in the studio or lighting up the underground with her top-notch techno and house sets, Connie stays musical on the drums with one of her several ongoing band projects. Connie’s profile is steadily on the rise. Never one to rest, Connie uses her own success to inspire other women to enter the male-dominated world of DJing. To date she has privately trained 15 students and in partnership with halcyon, ran “Ladies Night,” a weekly showcase for up-and-coming female DJ talent.

Don't ask Tamara Montenegro where she is from or what kind of music she makes. Both answers defy classifications. With a scientific background and a list of cities she calls home spanning on three continents, she considers music the bridge between her seemingly contradictory passions: sound and human physiology. During her live sets, dancers can indulge in a journey that spans over and blends the depth & lush of house music, the edge of techno, the avant-garde of IDM, and sprinkles of organic sounds. Tamara's current artistic proposal is based on adapting biological principles to music production that incorporates mind enhancing attributes into her music. Danielle Nicole was first introduced to underground dance music culture while attending college at NYU, she was captivated by what DJjs were able to create on the dance floor at the legendary sound factory and vinyl nightclubs. The then twenty year old decided to follow her true passion. After 3 years of strictly DJing, Danielle moved her talents into the studio where she found instant success. After just one year of producing her own music, she was the first female signed to Hushtek Recordings, a minimal/techno division of hush recordings. Since then, Danielle has released music on TKC music (NYC), Dirty Beats (NYC), Irma Records (Italy), Minitec Series (Italy) and Chameleon Black (Italy). Now an esteemed member of the NOSI Music remixer club, expect to see more of her in your Beatport Crate soon.

New York City became an artistic breeding ground and networking opportunity for Dani, which she utilized to full potential with repeat appearances at top NYC nightclubs like Love, Pacha, Rebel, Water Taxi, and regular gigs at Sullivan Room, including an infamous blowout midnight-spot NYE show to bring in 2010. It was during this New York transition when Dani found her true voice and love for minimal tech house… A sound that has been her musical forte and passion ever since. Since then, Dani has teamed up with fellow DJ and close friend Keryn, together headlining events all across NJ and Philadelphia. Refusing to settle down, the two dazzling DJ’s went on to establish Break Bookings, a female booking agency featuring some of the finest female talents in the tri-state area. Known for her dark sexy groovy bass heavy beats, Dani Lehman is a DJ’s DJ who plays straight from the heart, riding with a personal sense of stylistic freedom that only compliments classiness to her vastly unique and sophisticated sound.
