December, Christmas time…….the spot in the year for reflection of the past 12 months – what has been achieved? What have been the successes? What does the future hold?
Well - 2010 has, without doubt, been the most successful year of Freeze to date, the year when the night has truly taken off into the stratosphere and become the underground party that has been on the lips of the north west clubbing hordes. We have thrown a string ...of sell out shows at ‘The Rave in the Cave’ Williamson Tunnels featuring some household names: Nick Warren, Danny Howells, Robert Babicz and Christian Smith to name just a few, have graced the dark, seedy dancefloor and all have helped create and build our reputation as one of the best small nights around.
With some ridiculously shocking stuff in our heads for 2011, the future is certainly bright! The future is Freeze.
So, we round off the year with a huge show……ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together and welcome back Guy J!!! Fast becoming a Bedrock legend, young Guy helped us celebrate our 4th birthday in one of the first Tunnels gigs back in 2009. Since then, he has been badgering us for another slot, such was his liking for our venue and crowd. Guys stock has risen substantially since his first Freeze show, helped by his huge producing and remixing talent, and it is with great pride that we welcome back someone who must now be regarded as one of the bright young stars of the electronic music scene. A New Years Eve set from Guy is certainly one not to miss.
Joining Guy and the Freeze lads as we see in a new year will be Freeze friend Steve Parry. Steve has been a huge supporter of us since the inception of Freeze 5 years ago, and has rocked Freeze New Years Eve twice before – providing the soundtrack to two of the greatest early Freeze shows! Steve has a depth of musical knowledge rivaled by few and a level of musical taste that makes a Parry set truly stand out.
2010 has been a wonderful year for us, let us round off the year by making your New Years Eve wonderful!
See you on the dancefloor,
New Years Eve 2010
