Junkbeats member Phil Smart is heading to the city of lights to bring you the best of his techouse, minimal and warm techno sounds to the Loosekaboose first birthday bash on Sat the 31st of March.

Other djs for the night include Loosekaboose Residents JoDee, Trinity & Claire Morgan playing only the best deep tech, Detroit techno, German minimal and the like.

Loosekaboose is now at the Flinders Hotel every last SAT of the month, 63 Flinders Street, Darlinghurst – it’s an intimate venue, the sound systems sick and its the perfect space to get messy!

Phil has always been interested in the newest sounds and the most forward thinking electronic dance music.

As an indication of musical versatility, Phil has been chosen to play alongside visiting DJs as diverse as Michael Mayer, M.A.N.D.Y., Adam Freeland, Sven Vath, Derrick Carter, Sasha, John Digweed and Jose Padilla.

Voted Australian DJ Of The Year at the National Dance Music Awards in 2000. Twice listed in DJ Magazine’s list of the worlds Top 100 DJs.
