Vampire Weekend hit London for two sold out gigs at Alexandra Palace and following the final show, Baio will be heading south of the river to play a DJ set and Jamm alight. Our fine venue is now a talked about hot location to hold afterparties, so there is no surprise that even with the band playing some way across town, Baio (and no doubt the rest of the band) will find the time and energy following the gig, to party and experi...ence the Jamm atmosphere in person.
With our live music cohorts Absent Kelly involved as always, you can also expect an amazing live music line up on the night as some of the best bands from London and beyond will perform on the live stage, highlighting the talent that always follows Absent Kelly parties. Main support will be from No Room For Giants.
New York band Vampire Weekend have embarked on an epic tour which began way back in February of this year right here in the UK and finishes in December having spent 10 months on the road and covering every corner of the Globe. With this party at Jamm the final week of the tour, you can imagine the intensity of feeling that will be found and without doubt, we know this is a party that will be talked about for plenty of time to come, not only by those on the dancefloor, but Baio of VW as well.
It goes without saying that Jamm will always seek out the best events to host the Front Room and this night is no different with Hemisphere DJs and their underground party “At Night” smashing the Funktion One soundsystem with the best in Progressive, Tech and Techno brought to you by some of the best up coming DJs in the country.
After Retox vs Hemisphere hosted an amazing night back in October for The Charlatans after party, it was an easy choice in locking Hemisphere DJs and their new brand “At Night” back in to deliver more of the same. After nights at Ministry of Sound plus Above and Beyond O2 Brixton Academy with Retox, the “At Night” boys have decided to host this night with more incredible talent than you can shake a stick at.
It is hard to find consolation in not being able to attend the Vampire Weekend gig, but with tickets available for this party, it’s not the end of the world. With recent afterparties featuring DJ sets from bands including Groove Armada, Foals and The Charlatans all recently rocking the venue, we know that this night will not be any different.
