There is not a club in the world today which demands the same levels of intrigue as Berlin’s BERGHAIN and PANORAMA BAR. The venue and its artists have become renowned for an uncompromising approach to the music that they love. The music which has driven them to spawn the incredible OSTGUT TON label. The venue itself is an industrial space which is nothing but perfect to host the artists and events which are so proud to be part of the legacy which it has already created, such as the dub-leaning SUB:STANCE. The event which is crafted and curated by the mighty Scuba and Paul Spymania at Berghain.

On Friday 25 February 2011, modern amusement is proud to host one of its most ambitious events so far, and a huge event for the North of England as we host artists from across Europe to play at Leeds’ VOX. The raw VOX warehouse space is more than fitting to play host to such an event – the concrete floors and stripped brick walls providing tight sound, perfect for the talent on offer.

Room one sees Berghain’s bastion Marcel Dettmann, Birmingham’s legendary Surgeon and the house sounds of Prosumer as well as an appearance from Steffi as she tours promoting her new highly anticipated solo album Yours & Mine on Ostgut Ton. The Sub:Stance crew take over room two providing an impressive line up taking in the likes of Leeds’ very own Ramadanman and the Detroit influenced Londoners Instra:mental alongside Addison Groove’s live show and of course Scuba and Paul.

Fri, 11 Mar 2011So gutted to have missed this - bought tickets for what was going to be a perfect birthday night, then couldn't go due to illness. Fan-fucking-tastic...

Glad it was good though!
