After a successful follow up to the first, its now time for the third.
No Politics is back with another cocktail for your ears. Mixing music and fun is something we take very seriously. Smiles and dancing are something that we promise to deliver. Stretching the pitch of sound itself with journeys into funk and house, with reality checking in on the deepest levels. The messengers include Matt Radovich, Unfettered/ Wael Najm ( So...und Of Thought ) and Louis McCoy. So join us for some free fun and some real music with a side of good people. Sticking with the proven formula, starting off slow with some funky disco, then slowly pushing up the tempo as the night progresses with some deep house, followed closely by your feet. bye for now. xo. SOUND OF THOUGHT

Motivated by an unsatisfied desire to dance to a complimentary and considered progression of DJ’s, coupled with a view to romanticize and mythicise the power of speakers and poorly lit spaces, sound of thought vehemently vowed never to complain again, but to only get even, and to get even with a certain sound as-well.

A sound of the political kind, an aesthetic but much more; those rare instances of walking tall and grinding and not cowering or self-pleasuring in feelings of being betrayed and lifted simultaneously.

Our sound implies that we don’t discriminate, do not even regulate, we don’t preach or tell you where it’s at, just where the music is coming from. Take what you will, just listen.

So please, do not vote for us as we will not deliver you even more (bass) nor highly choreographed hands in the air moments, but an acute desire to furnish the nights proceedings with bottom heavy bounce and a contextually appropriate combination of flirtation and freedom of expression.

Matt Radovich (a.k.a Mike Hunt)

With over 16 years experience spinning all over Victoria and featuring at all major parties and clubs throughout Melbourne with is roster full with weekly residences @ The Lounge, New Guernica, The Workshop, Emerald Peacock, Miss Libertines, Bimbos, Lucky Coq….

Matty Radovich was handpicked to be the support dj for Dj Shadow, as well as the one and only Grandmaster Flash, under his alias Mike Hunt and this year Matt has just recently played with Common at a Red bull Racing Gala party, and has supported Dj Shadow and Cut Chemists Hard Sell tour of Australia. Matt has also supported the likes of many great funk, hip hop and dance acts like Flying Lotus, Gilles Peterson, Gaslamp Killer, Scuba, Ras G, Claude Von Stroke, Hudson Mohawke, The Platinum Pied Pipers, 2manydjs, Cassius, just to name a few.
