Every once in a while a new artist comes along and completely takes their scene by storm. In the second half of 2010, that was Maya Jane Coles. Her release on Real Tone 'What They Say' was arguably one of the underground tracks of the year, rising to No.1 in the Beatport deep house chart and RA's October top ten, and catapulted the girl from Leeds into the DJ limelight.
Not content with being a producer on her own, Maya is also part of the hotly tipped dub/electronica band 'She is Danger', who have already notched up remixes for Massive Attack, Gorrilaz and Dreadzone.
Always keen to bring new and exciting artists to Bristol, we are super psyched to be able to present Maya's first ever gig in our fair city. And if that wasnt all, we are holding this very special gig in a totally secret new Breakfast Club venue, that will probably the most intimate space you will ever get a chance to see Maya play in.
The venue is brand new to The Breakfast Club and capacity has a strict limit of 100, this is bound to be a roadblock so buying tickets in advance is recommended, there will be NO guest list for this event. Tickets will be available shortly. The location of the party will be announced on the event page on the day of the party.
Joining our residents Ed Karney and Waifs & Strays we have Christophe; one of our favourite Bristol DJ's and fresh from having his debut release listed in Mixmag's 'Top 100 Tracks of the Year'.
Secret 100 capacity location to be announced on the day.
