The 'ber' and the 'uary' months are over, and Alfalfa is saying a big good riddance! After our messy packed out toilet session in August and helping our pals at Flat 7 records rock the baby box at Ministry of Sound in November, Alfalfa's coming out of hibernation to kick start spring with an all round fun/messy/intimate party featuring some of London's best up and coming talent.
We welcome two names inparticularly who's recent achievements have by no means gone unnoticed, making them frequent names on everyone's lips!
JORDAN PEAK (Saved/Tsuba/Robsoul/Raum)
Low slung House music full of swing and swagger, a gifted musician in the studio and champion technician in any DJ booth, Jordan Peak has the world at his size 8 feet. Hailing from the South Coast of England, brought up listening to his mothers Soul, Funk and Disco records and his fathers Chicago House collection, the extremely likable entertainer born in 1987 was well schooled in the art of groove even before he started making tracks.
A prodigious newcomer to the scene Jordan has worked his way up the production ranks at a rapid pace having only released his first record in late 2009. Within the space of a year he is able to count well respected industry heavyweights such as Saved, Tsuba, Robsoul and Raum...Musik as his home labels with many of the undergrounds leading players supporting his work including Loco Dice, Marco Carola, DJ Sneak, Matthias Tanzmann, 2000 And One, Luciano and Dance music legend Pete Tong who named Jordan as one to watch in 2011 on his flagship BBC Radio One show and in the best selling clubbing magazine Mixmag.
Versatile is an understatement. Whether its deep, spacey, dubbed out textures or booming, jacking beats with plenty of low end, Jordan has a knack at crafting a wide spectrum of 4/4 based sounds with plenty of raw analog charm. A tireless workaholic who spends as much time in his studio as physically possible, there is always plenty of new material waiting to come from the boy from Brading

This particular set is also Jordan's last in London before he jets off to play for Saved Records at the WMC in Miami!
NICE GUY EDDIE (D.E.S)
One third of the Deep End Sound System collective, Eddie has an undeniable and raw love for underground House music. Along with his fellow D.E.S members, they are renowned for dedication to dubs and vinyl and throwing some of London's wildest parties. 'Loop' resident Eddie has recently played alongside names such as DC10 legends Clive Henry & Geddes aswell as underground players like Alex Arnout, Anthea, Greg Brockman and many more. 2011 has already seen Eddie and the gang booked to play for favourite London parties such as Wet Yourself @ Fabric and the much loved Sunday session Fuse. The only way to describe Eddie and his crews sound is 'tight, tough, rollin underground house with feeling.' Happy ears are an inevitable result from this set!
