Aeroplane
The best things come to those who wait and Vito Deluca epically anticipated debut album didn’t disappoint. Converting him from remixer-du-annee to Balearic disco lord with one lovingly delivered long player on Wall of Sound. Having reworked the killer tracks of Friendly Fires, Chromeo, Cut Copy and her highness Grace Jones Vito’s clearly got the tools for success.

But rarely has such new music sounded so classic. His sunshine anthem and title track ‘We Can’t Fly’ has already achieved what many artists strive for over decades: a signature tune that’s a floor filler that sounds like no-one else.

Hot City
Twisting and flipping back dance forms on themselves Hot City are bouncing through the more evergreen facets of garage, house, bass and tech’d up dancefloor sounds. Having smashed EPs out on Highpoint Lowlife, RAMP and recently Moshi Moshi it’s not hard to understand why DJ Mag were quick to make them cover stars in 2010.

Visions of Trees
London duo Vision of Trees make a seductive sound for just a pair of musical minds. Part of the chill-wave-haze-blazers that coloured much of 2010, Vision of Trees will bring a tropical blast to a line-up already baking in tropical heat. Get down early to get hot.
