When lightening struck in NYC in 1977 nobody could have predicted what the Blackout unleashed. The tensions of this period, serial murders, and a brutal heatwave lashed out. It was time for action. Time to express, time to be free.
2011, the beginning of a new decade. Now more than ever, it’s time to explore and discover our boundaries (if there are any :) ) and to forget austerity.
On Saturday 15th January, under a bridge on Kingsland Rd marks the return of BLACKOUT. After two major parties in 2010 the rubber has been polished, the stained sheets have been bleached. The stranger who took your innocence last time is back to mess with your mind. The sign on the wall says NO CAMERAS, but the images of your memory will relay the red lights and taste of your fantasies in our mouths.
When the power's cut everyone will be charged for action. The lights come on the light go off BLACKOUT!

VERY SPECIAL GUEST TBC
Having just released their latest EP on New York label Throne of Blood, the UK-based duo Andy and Matt made their name as the founders of Feelmybicep.com, connoisseurs of all things house and disco - booking the likes of Wolf Music at their own parties from London to Brighton. The youngest members to join the Throne of Blood family (and the first from the UK) they bring 'deep and warm' sounds to the label, revealing heavy references to their influences from Chicago and Detroit. The release TOB010 Bicep EP1 will be the first of two records they'll be making for Throne of Blood in the coming weeks. The record features two originals and a dancefloor edit by Retro/Grade aka disco duo Serge Santiago and Tom Neville.
Ali Love fresh from recording with Jamie Jones on Hot Creations and Justice. Having recently released his album 'Love Harder' on Backyard , Ali will be joining Blackout resident Luca C. on the mic for an exclusive live p.a.'
