Monkey Plays Piano (live)
Talking At Me is back with a residents special in January, so forget the cold and the detox and come try some of the best cocktails in town and listen to fresh music from the London underground electronic scene.
January sees a live act by psychedelic act Monkey Plays Piano.
Talking At Me is not genre specific but has an aesthetic that runs through many genres, oriented around bass-led music with its roots in the jungle and garage scenes of the 90s right up to the post-dubstep scene of today.
Anchored at the Nottinghill Arts Club, T.A.M. residents Rita Maia and Coby 1 and fellow instigators Dom Prosser and Adam Callam invite guest DJ's and live acts monthly from London and around, representing a piece of the forward thinking dance music scene in the UK.
The best way to sample the flavour is to come to a night, read the blog, or get in touch.
Solo artist Monkey Plays Piano paints a progressive electronica ambient dance soundscape. His sychedelic sonic journey is better explained by some of his influences such as The Chemical Brothers, Pendulum, Kruder & Dorfmeister. Meat Beat Manifesto to Pink Floyd, and The Doors.
