Oscar der WinzigeSorry Gilberto are Anne von Keller and Jakob Dobers from Berlin. They like
instruments which fit in small cars. Such as Ukulele, Casio-Keyboards and
Glockenspiel. „It was the longest day and we didn't know how to end it“ is their
second album. The first one was called „Memory Oh“. They write simple songs with
complicated lyrics. Or how they sing in „Man in the snow“: It used to be fun / but what
if i lost it / i need a new punchline / cause i'm ready to post it“. Sorry Gilberto are
missing the Moldy Peaches. And The Go-Betweens. Some might call it Anti-Folk. We
call it Singalong in the Tower of Song.
