Warm return to Plastic People for a very special event on Friday June 17th. This month we welcome two residents from Frankfurt's legendary Robert Johnson club in Ata and Gerd Janson who in their own rights are two of the finest DJ's on this planet and are two men with huge electronic music heritage.

Gerd Janson has been serving the hottest house and disco cuts at Frankfurt's Robert Johnson where he has been hosting the Liquid club nights together with DJ heavyweight Thomas Hammann for the past few years inviting a whole plethora of guests from around the world. Without a doubt, Gerd Janson is one of the hottest talents on the German DJ circuit. The word has spread, and so he's travelling a lot as a DJ now. Besides this Gerd is also the man behind the superb Running Back record label which has recently seen monster releases from the likes of Todd Terje and has the much anticpitaed debut LP by Tiger & Woods coming out this month. Beyond this he also writes for two of Germanys' finest music magazines in Spex and Groove as well as finding time to be a member of the Red Bull Music Academy team!

Alongside Gerd we welcome Ata who is the man behind the Robert Johnson club which is one of the best clubs on this planet for electronic music and besides this he set up legendary labels such as Playhouse, Klang and Ongaku. Ata is an institution in house and electronic music circles and this is a very rare appearance so do not miss this as his recent 'Live at Robert Johnson' mix cd which was released in March was something very special!
