LONE started as a bedroom teen producer in Nottingham experimenting with Hip Hop, early 90s Hardcore, Techno and Electronica for years before dropping his lush, dream-hop début opus 'Lemurian' on local label Dealmaker in 2008. With his debut resulting in critical acclaim and props from such as Kode9, Rustie and James Holden, more releases and remixes on Warp records and Actress' Werk Discs label followed soon after.

LONE merges an endless range of styles including 80s funk and 90s hip hop, but still you will be able to spot a his tracks as they bear a personality that is unique and vivid. Warped out sounds and hazy, sun drenched melodies mixed with heavy basslines make LONEs sound a love letter to both, Detroit & UK rave.

His live set at MONGREL will be accompanied by the tunes of Manchester's Jack mate KRYSTAL KLEAR, who releases boogie-house and funk with absolute bone-shuddering force behind it. FACT magazine just included him in the top 10 list of the producers to watch for 2011and he’s a pretty incredible DJ too - good chance to catch him before every else does!
