After a long wait we are happy to announce details of our opening party this Sunday and the launch of our 10th season of parties.

It seems we have had a tough time over the last year or so, losing venues due to circumstances beyond our control. Unfortunately 2011 seems to have started in the same way and our first choice of new space that we have been working on for the last months fell through at the last minute just last Friday (just over a week before the party). We're always looking for that special location for secretsundaze and our search for open-air or naturally lit venues is the very reason that it's so hard to find something that we feel will suit the party.

With all that in mind we are very happy to have found a great replacement with The House in Greenwich in such a short space of time. They have been extremely accommodating and are making a number of alterations to the outdoor space to make it suitable to help create the secretsundaze vibe. Some of you may remember the parties we did there a few years ago. The outdoor terrace behind the venue is definitely one of the coolest outdoor spaces that we have seen for secretsundaze with its wooden decked, tiered terrace and plants and foliage over hanging. With no sound restrictions at all unlike many open air spaces in London this should hold us in good stead for the all day session!

We can also now announce our second guest that we'll be flying over for the occasion will be Mojuba's precocious young talent Sven Weissemann. Sven is definitely a hugely talented and versatile producer with his super mature sought after deep compositions on Mojuba as Sven Weisemann and his more dubstep alter ego Desolate also garnering fans worldwide. His DJing is very solid and you can see the big Detroit and Chicago influence in his rapid fire skills.

We have released a handful of extra tickets on sale on RA so don't sit on this as at the rate they were selling last week they will be snapped up very quickly. You have been warned!

There will literally be 50 - 100 tickets maximum on the door.

For those of you that can't make it to the opening party, tickets for the second May bank holiday On Sunday May 29th are also selling fast on RA and fingers crossed we’ll be at one of the few new locations we have been trying to lock down.

Full Address / directions of venue for opening:

Looking forward to see you all on sunday,

Love,

Thu, 19 May 2011He was probably most good / fun we he slowed it down and played some discoey stuff but his mixing was pretty rubbish.

He kind of reminded me of when i saw john peel play once where he went from banging hardcore to irish folk music to banging hardcore to irish folk music...continue for an hour.....a pretty horrible experience

If you can move it around and still keep some element of flow, brilliant....he just didn't do it.

Thu, 19 May 2011when people say 'kyle hall was shit'
do they mean his music was shit or his mixing or both?

when i saw him recently his mixing was dodgy but he still rocked it
he dropped 'more bounce' in the middle of some techno

something a perfectly mixing european dj would not, could not, do
european djs it seems can only play tracks that mix together
they have no willingness to take any sort of risks, boring bastards.

big up kyle hall

Thu, 19 May 2011Yep dude, I can vouch for that...there was a session that really went down-hill with too much cheesy discoey sound (from memory - a lot has happened since then), but then the music delivered what we expect of SS and the crowd lifted - fantastic experience, personally...MW

Thu, 05 May 2011the system was loud but poor...very muffled, sounded like a slight delay on one side which meant if you were stood in a certain area it sounded like the beats were clashing but they werent.
