Feel-good Indie, Britpop & Rock 'N' Roll!!
2nd Friday of Every Month
@ The Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes
“Busy, enjoyable and refreshingly unpretentious” – remotegoat.co.uk
Only six months since its hugely successful launch at The Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes in July, Roll With It is shaping up to be London's favourite dancing, karaoke and bowling experience. The next instalment takes place on Friday 14th January and promises to be every bit as lively and exciting as the previous events.
Roll With It has an unpretentious philosophy that centres around fantastic upbeat guitar music and a feel-good vibe. Spinning the very hottest tunes as well your favourite anthems cherry-picked from the 50s right up to today, the resident DJs are guaranteed to fly your weekend high in the sky!
Joe Atari: Having DJed a host of London venues since 2001 including Proud Galleries, Barfly, The Lock Tavern, 93 Feet East and The Old Blue Last as well as at top festivals like Latitude, Hop Farm and TDK Cross, Joe has become a master of his craft, taking a room full of people on a musical roller coaster ride of fun, inspiring and downright dirty tracks from across the board of British rock 'n' roll history.
Abi Feltham: One of London's most exciting young DJs, Abi knows how to get a crowd dancing with her eclectic mix of cutting-edge indie and vintage American rock 'n' roll. A regular on the Camden circuit, she has a residency at celebrated indie club night Cherry Cola and has DJed a number of summer festivals, including Bestival and The Big Chill.
*GUEST DJ* Vicki Lee Bradley: The name behind London's long-running retro night Barbequtie at cool North London boozer The Boogaloo, Vicki guests at Roll With It to play a very special 2 hour set for us lucky pups. Time Out says: “It's cute like Barbarella but it rocks like the Rolling Stones: it's a 60s themed indie rockin' session...”
Roll With It takes place once a month at The Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes, centrally located just two minutes' walk from Russell Square tube. It's a truly unique gem of a place kitted out in retro 50s/60s style; it boasts a large cocktail bar made from bowling lane wood, a diner serving classic American fare (including the biggest pizza in London... 26" of doughy mayhem!) and plenty of lounge space where revellers can chill out between bouts of bowling and dancing fun
