Starboard Hudson is proud to present a night of pure electronic music featuring the electronic trio band JAB and DJ's Kuato and Travmatic. Get ready to dance your asses off as the ship will be bumping with heavy bass and uncontrollable dance beats.
JAB was the very first band to perform at Starboard Hudson back at the opening in Novemeber. They return to the stage this time excited to play a much longer set and s...hare the stage with good friends Mike Jones (Kuato) and Travis Higgins (Travmatic).
Prepare yourselves....this ship is is about to bounce.
One week after Jeff Liffman (keys) met Andrey Kazachov (keys), the two gathered at Andrey’s studio with “human-drum-machine” Byron Avery, and “magic happened.” In that first session, the band developed many of its most epic songs in what they would later remember as a five hour marathon of completely improvised music.
Fate was on their side– the band has been playing gigs through out NYC and neighboring states. At Starboard Hudson’s Soft Opening on November 13,the trio tore-it-up. They set the stage for the entire night and when their set was over the crowd didn’t want them to stop!
This dynamic underground trio specializes in innovative electronic sound, and names inspirations including Deadmau5, Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers, and the New Deal.
