Our eighth Streets Of Beige kicks off with what is probably our most frighteningly good lineup yet. Compromising of four artists at the forefront of the UK beat-scene - Letherette, Young Montana, S.Maharba and Blank & Kytt - each brings their own take on modern hip-hop mashed with an endless list of other inspirations. All will be getting their tech on with live laptop-based setups, and they'll span most of the night so get down early to avoid missing out.

LETHERETTE (Hotep Recordings)

Having had their songs do heavy rounds on Youtube and through their own incredible BTS Mixes, Letherette have kept their heads down whilst crafting some of the catchiest post-Dilla hip-hop we've heard in years. Sticking strongly to the blueprint, whilst sounding as refreshing as ever, this a great chance to catch a rare live/DJ blended set from the Wolverhampton duo.

YOUNG MONTANA (Alpha Pup)

Back again for round two of his Beige ventures, and with an overhauled live set ready for outing, Young Montana's sound has enraptured the online world to the point where he's landed an album deal with the legendary Alpha Pup Records due out early this year. And in Sacre Cool 2010 found it's underground track of the year. Still not heard it? Google happened for a reason..

S.MAHARBA

When we first found out about S.Maharba, his profile seemed to imply that he was a female model from the sixties or seventies. Although was later found not to be true, it does turn out that each of his songs is so heavily entwined in beautifully deep beats that it is practically the sound equivalent of these enticing images on his website. And with every beat played live this will be an unmissable chance to catch his return to Beige, for only his second live set ever.

BLANK & KYTT

After a fateful meeting at university resulted in late night albums been made by the truckload, Blank & Kytt uploaded their twilight beat fiddlings to unsuspecting internet trawlers. Whilst their 3010 LP showcased an undoubtedly All City-esque synth vibe, new Bandcamp spawned album FastSlowJamz showcases an unbelievable array of beat-weapons such that it's difficult not to imagine this pressed to physical sometime soon.
