Sitting down at the proverbial drawing board of party planning proliferation, Musiq Concrete and nouveau decided to make a sensible decision. They needed a party that paralleled the sheer off – the - hookness of their October road block in London Bridge with DJ W!LD et al; and they needed it sorted by February 12th. Alas I bore you with details of behind the scenes goings on, needless to say a shitter ensued, but it’s all turned out rather dandy. All you need know is that Musiq Concrete and nouveau have planned two fantastic events. We’ll be kicking off summer in a fashion with another monster of a shindig; all these details will be announced at our first session in a few weeks…

But what of February I hear you yelp? Can I get my dirt on? Calm dear disco freak, calm, something quite delicious has been cooked up for you. They are taking their fair party to one of London’s juvenile, but by no means less notorious dancing halls – CARGO. This legendary establishment has kindly allowed us to let in the faithful at a cost of zilch, nada, nothing, before 10pm (we’re opening at 8!). You’ve been warned, be early and be ka-ching, or be late and run the risk of not getting in – this will be another stomper!

Expect delightful deepness and bold, hard hitting sounds from our plethora of talent; who’ll be supporting a notable figure head in electronic greatness. Gavin Herlihy, who fell from a world of experimental rock when he heard his first taste of electronic music and exclaimed, “It sounded like the future being beamed down the radio waves, and I've been chasing it ever since." Oh very deep Gavin! Whether house or techno his tracks have consistently earned praise from tastemakers like Luciano, Sven Väth or Laurent Garnier and earned himself bookings all over the world including Berlin's notable hotspots such as Panorama Bar and Watergate.

Our main man has released EPs and tracks on Leftroom, Get Physical, Kindisch and more recently the mighty Cocoon and Cadenza. Everyone, be nice and nod HELLO to Mr Herlihy, (but only if you can say it) at CARGO SATURDAY FEBRUARY 12TH.
