This night will be a diverse extravaganza of all things electronic and bass heavy and it will be unloading its full ammunition through the floors of the legendary Brixton Jamm, echoing throughout the streets of South London, leaving you filled with euphoric bliss and vibrant sounds!

The Bays are like no other band, they have no album, no set list, no “songs” to perform (or promote!), in fact there are no commercial imperatives at play. They are simply raw, innovative and essentially as live as a band can be. Creating on the fly, manipulating sound and communicating to their audience like no other. Their live shows cannot be repeated and are about the moment.

Each of The Bays is feeling a progression in the music and is anticipating where the performance is going to next. It could change at any moment and pursue a new direction in a second. Taking the concept of the DJ – presiding over a seamless continuum of music – The Bays drop sets like a live band creating a 90-minute DJ-mix. And reinventing the concept of studio remixing, The Bays are creating new tracks on stage and remixing these ideas live without any planning, verbal communication or commercial consideration.

Through their relentless gig schedule and tireless devotion to their radical musical ethic, The Bays have ripped up the rulebook and debunk musical convention wherever they play. Since they first came together for a one off gig in 1999, they have performed extensively across the globe and have taken in almost every festival you could care to name.

Supporting this fantastic band we have the finest and freshest up and coming talents of new ground-breaking live act Asteroid Deluxe (Soccer96) and DJ sets from The House Burglars (Sub FM) and psychedelic house-master Wilke-Wonders, creating a visionary blend of the highest order, guaranteed to send you stratospheric.

With the live room more than musically satisfied, we have another room to keep our toes twinkling with the honorary pleasure of music legend Mr Ray Keith headlining the bar room with support from the rising stars of dub, house, drum and bass and jungle, pounding your senses and stretching the imagination of what is possible through music.

This amazing event will be backed by a renewed Funktion 1 Sound System, state-of-the-art lighting, lasers, visuals and décor with a simply wicked vibe, friendly staff and a very popular large outdoor heated smoking area with good quality food, music memorabilia and positive party people…what more could you want eh?
