Will & Jean-Baptiste's new house & disco bash!

Will and I are really excited to team up to put this thing together! We'll play the best of New York disco, Chicago house, London new wave and Detroit Techno. ADULT CONTEMPORARY is our first monthly party together as EUGENE & MORTIMER, our new DJ duo following our separate acts as Anicet and William de Samman.

This will also be the occasion to celebrate my 25th birthday so don't miss out - JB

Eugène (aka Jean-Baptiste) kicked off his DJ career in the US 5 years ago under the name of Anicet. Over the years he played in some of the coolest clubs of the East Coast, including The Annex (NYC), NuBlu (NYC), Sonar (Baltimore) and 9.30 club (DC), the largest selling music venue in the US. He shared line-ups with Tim Sweeney (DFA), DJ Sneak, Para One (Institubes) and Dan Deacon.

Mortimer (Will), under his former moniker William de Samman, harnessed some of Montreal's funk identity and applies it to his current musical likes and selections, from House to Funk, Disco, Boogie and Soul to keep the party upbeat and uplifting. Will was recently reckoned for his recent partnership with Mutek (International Electronic music Festival - Montreal) as well as the infamous “Movement” weekly nights in his native Montreal with 150+ weekly attendees, alongside DJ Heidy. He’s played with Mike Mind (Turbo Records), David Shaw (Attitude City, Loose Joints). Completing a Masters at Goldsmiths, Will, much like Jean-Baptiste, is excited to have London as his new musical playground.
