One Hand Clapping comes to Cameo Gallery this Friday with two venerable DJs: Mike Simonetti and Tim Sweeney.

Mike started in the club scene in the early 90s, promoting for parties and pretty soon was DJing himself. Most notably starting the Happy Birthday Hideout parties with Chris Catalyst which would go until the early hours of the morning. Nowadays, he runs Italians Do It Better and tours the world Glass Candy and Chromatics.

Tim hosts WNYU's weekly radio show, Beats in Space, inviting on DJ's from across the globe to share their musical tastes. Past guests of his show have included James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem, DJ Harvey, Horse Meat Disco, and Mike Simonetti himself.

Tonight the party starts at 11 and goes all the way til 4, maybe later. Last time Tim played Brooklyn the cops raided the club, so we'll see what happens.
